Well 2 - Oak Tree Well Standby, 5 HP, 15 GPM, originally 145’, re-drilled to 650’ in 1986, 5” Plastic Casing to 160’, pump at 575’ The well was re-drilled in 1986 from 145’ to 650’ to improve flow and activated in September of 1991. A bentonite and cement grout seal was installed between the old 7 inch diameter casing, and the deepened casing to a depth of 158 feet. Water producing fractures are located at 225 feet, 430 feet, and 610 feet. The pump has been replaced more than once due to failure. Pump Replaced 1989-1990 Caution this is a 240 Volt 3-phase system with a stinger leg! The well was equipped with a 2 horsepower submersible pump.
